BY ENTERING THESE PREMISES, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE TO ALL TERMS BELOW

ASSUMPTION OF RISK

FIREARMS ARE INHERENTLY DANGEROUS. By entering this facility, you acknowledge that shooting activities involve serious risks including but not limited to:

• Death or permanent disability
• Hearing damage from gunfire
• Eye injuries from brass, debris, or particles
• Burns from hot firearms, brass, or gunpowder
• Injuries from ricochets or deflected projectiles
• Slip, trip, and fall hazards
• Equipment malfunction
• Exposure to lead and other hazardous materials
• Actions or negligence of other participants

YOU VOLUNTARILY ASSUME ALL RISKS associated with your presence and participation in any activities at this facility.

RELEASE OF LIABILITY

By entering these premises, you agree that Etowah Firearms Gun Range, its owners, employees, agents, contractors, and all associated parties SHALL NOT BE LIABLE for any injury, death, or property damage arising from your use of this facility, regardless of cause.

You enter and use this facility entirely at your own risk.

MANDATORY SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN IMMEDIATE EJECTION

FIREARM SAFETY

• All firearms MUST remain unloaded until on the firing line • Firearms MUST be pointed downrange at all times when loaded • NO handling of firearms when anyone is downrange

PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT REQUIRED

• Eye protection MUST be worn at all times

• Ear protection MUST be worn at all times

• Closed-toe shoes required • Long pants recommended

PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES

• NO alcohol or controlled substances (before or during visit)

• NO rapid fire or “bump fire” techniques

• NO steel core, armor piercing, or incendiary ammunition

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

By entering, you certify that:

✓ You are legally permitted to possess firearms under all applicable laws
✓ You are not under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or impairing medications
✓ You have no medical conditions that prevent safe firearm handling

Minors under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times.

RANGE RULES – STRICTLY ENFORCED

ON THE FIRING LINE

TREAT EVERY FIREARM AS IF IT’S LOADED
NEVER POINT A FIREARM AT ANYTHING YOU DON’T INTEND TO DESTROY
KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER UNTIL READY TO SHOOT
BE SURE OF YOUR TARGET AND WHAT’S BEYOND IT

GENERAL CONDUCT

• Follow all posted signs and range officer instructions

• Clean up your shooting station before leaving

• Report accidents or injuries immediately

• Respect other shooters and maintain appropriate noise levels

ENFORCEMENT

Failure to comply with any rule or instruction will result in:

Immediate ejection from the facility
Forfeiture of all fees paid
Permanent ban from the facility (for serious violations)
Possible criminal charges (for illegal activities)

LEGAL NOTICES

Governing Law: These terms are governed by the laws of North Carolina.

Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, all other provisions remain in full effect.

Indemnification: You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Etowah Firearms Gun Range from any claims arising from your actions.

No Warranties: This facility and all equipment are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.

ACKNOWLEDGMENT

YOUR ENTRY INTO THIS FACILITY CONSTITUTES YOUR AGREEMENT TO ALL TERMS AND CONDITIONS STATED ABOVE. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE, YOU MUST LEAVE IMMEDIATELY.

These terms apply to all persons entering the facility, including spectators, guests, and accompanying parties.
